Born and raised in NYC, Shir graduated from the University of Vermont in 2008 with a BS in Business Administration. For the past 9 years he has successfully bridged the gap between non-technical people and the wonderful world of technology.
After teaching a volunteer computer class at the Penn South Senior Center, he was nominated to become New Yorker of the Week. He has also trained top business leaders in small businesses & large corporations, including CitiGroup, ADP, and other Fortune 500 companies.
Shir’s unique talent lies in his ability to learn almost anything, and then teach it to others. Whether it’s training over 2,600 people how to dance Salsa, learning how to unicycle in 2 days, or solving a Rubik’s Cube in under a minute, he has an unmistakable passion for exploring the unknown and then sharing it with others.
When not tweaking spreadsheets, Shir can be found dancing Argentine Tango in NYC’s vibrant Tango scene.
